So after getting a few recommendations for Psycho-pass (and some very persuasive arguments), I recently watched the anime and LOVED IT .
As is often the case, I find myself regretting that I hadn't watched it sooner, for it's a brilliant anime (I have a thing for dystopian stories) with an interesting set of characters--one of which is Makishima.

To say the least, Makishima's quite the character, quite the antagonist. While I can certainly appreciate his cunning, his general prowess, it's not so much about what a great villain he is. Let's just say, in a twisted society, a twisted guy isn't necessarily wrong.
